PREVENTING

                  HEALTH and SAFETY TRAINING

·        16,095 residents trained in First Aid/CPR/Aquatics, including on-site training for businesses

 
     PREPARING

                  COMMUNITY OUTREACH

·        2,289 residents received Disaster Preparedness training

·        Youth Club members conducted emergency preparedness training for 530 children

·        Provided leadership of Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), a countywide consortium of approximately 40 nonprofit and faith-based organizations dedicated to the development of a coordinated system of communication and service delivery during a major disaster

 
      RESPONDING

                        DISASTER SERVICES

·        126 individuals assisted following 29 local disasters

·        Financial assistance to cover food, clothing, shelter, and prescription replacement

·        Mental health support for adults and children

·        Case Management/Referral Assistance to other social service agencies

·        Training and support for 220 Disaster Volunteers

 
                  SERVICES TO ARMED FORCES (SAF)

·        3,038 served through our Get To Know Us Before You Need Us outreach

·        59 military personnel/family members served   

·        Emergency communication for families of military loved ones

·        Emergency Case Management and Financial Assistance


Volunteers donated 9,854 hours - an in-kind value of $197,080!!
